In 2023 Lukovit Municipality made a serious step to improve the quality of drinking water in various municipal establishments.

Following the initiative of the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Ivan Grancharov, 10 water purification and filtration systems from DETOX WATER System were installed to prevent diseases, eliminate hazardous elements in the water and improve conditions for a safe and healthy environment.

This is the largest structured water investment made by a municipality in Bulgaria. Thanks to this initiative, hundreds of children and residents of Lukovit will be able to benefit from purified, softened and structured water with optimal pH.

Ivan Grancharov, Mayor of Lukovit Municipality:

"My main priority is the improvement of conditions in the kindergartens on the territory of Lukovit Municipality. Access to clean drinking water is extremely important for children and adolescents. For more than a year now, more than 10 municipal institutions have been drinking purified and structured water directly from the tap, which saves us significant amounts of money every month from buying bottled water. An added plus for us is that the systems act as a prevention against the spread of communicable diseases."
